When the COVID-19 pandemic hit, my colleagues and I at the Massachusetts Municipal Association restructured our typical in-person trainings and conferences for local officials as virtual events. Since March, I have managed over 50 virtual events. In my role as manager, I am responsible for working with members to plan content, recruit and prepare speakers, and coordinate day-of logistics. I also develop written stories about each event that I manage to be included on the MMA's public website and in our monthly news publication.
